Bridge to Terabithia...

is such an inspirational movie. I just finished watching it and I love it every time. Yes, it's sad, but this show gives so much hope. This movie portrays that you can do anything...you can dream up and do anything if you close your eyes and open your mind. A little girl can be a princess. A boy can go to the moon. You can dream up a giant troll that becomes your best friend. Anything can happen. Dreams do come true...and not just in big cities with lots of opportunities. You can make the best of any situation and you can change your circumstances around.

I want to be a hero. No, I don't want to fly around on with a cape and a mask. I want to change people's lives for the better. I want to help one child from a bad circumstance and change it around to make a good functional person. I want to be the reason why people change for the better. I want to make a difference. I want to MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I want to go into social work when I'm older and help children who come from families that aren't so fortunate. Even though they can't change their circumstances, I want to help them overcome problems and make their lives better. I was always told growing up that I can be anything that I want to be. I always wanted to be a famous singer. Although that's not the case now, I know that I could do it. My mom and my dad always had lots of confidence in me and I knew I could do anything I set my mind to. Not all kids have that. I'm fortunate enough to be blessed with a family that loves me and will do anything for me. That's why I want to be a hero in other children's lives. Because I was so fortunate, I want to help others who aren't as fortunate and help their dreams come true.

Why do I complain? I have so much to be grateful for. My life is wonderful. WONDERFUL. Why can't everyone be as fortunate as me?
