You hear this quote often. You think, "Wow, yeah, I'm just going to be myself". Have you ever noticed how with your friends you do crazy, silly things that if you were to do with your family you'd be so embarrassed or vice versa? Sometimes I fear rejection. Actually, I do all the time. Why do I rely so much on people to make myself feel good? Sometimes being yourself is easier said than done. Why do we try so hard to impress people? How come it's easier to forget other people's stupid mistakes than it is ours? Why can't we just accept ourselves? Why can't we just forgive ourselves?Why do we always have to wonder if people like us or not? Why can't we just be ourselves?

This week has been so good. It's nice to have a break from not-so-goodness. There was a morning-side on Wednesday. It was the best one I've ever been to. The theme was Proverbs 3: 5-6 and it was about trusting in the Lord. There were two short little speakers, and then we could get and bear our testimonies. The spirit was so strong. It's so encouraging to know the testimonies of my peers. It was awesome. Oh, yeah. And the musical number was awesome! (I was in it *cough*) Toodles!

It's snowing outside, and I'm listening to Christmas music! Yup, I'm happy! :)

I'm feeling lots of different things today. Sad, because it's the last day of summer. Excited, because I get to start highschool tomorrow. Anxious, because I don't know what's going to happen. Dread, because I don't want to get in that routine yet. Tired, because I've had a lot of fun today, and a lot of work. I know it's just school, and it's no big deal, but I'm scared. I think tomorrow better be super legit, that's all I'm sayin'. More stuff comin' soon.
